Mr. Kuang Liangyin has join Huawei Erbil office more than 2 year of experience in ICT business domain. He received his Bachelor degree in 2021, and is an sales in ICT solutions, actively bring digitalization into every household and promote the development of communications infrastructure in the KRG. Joined Huawei Middle East Region in 2022, since then has participate several projects in the KRG region Improving the local communications environment.

Customer-side owner of Huawei Booth in Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. He guided KRG customers and partners to visit Huawei's latest ICT products and solutions and promoted KRG's digital transformation.

Dr. Hussein N. Fadhel 

The Smart Revolution: The Pivotal Role of IoT and LPWAN in Smart City Development

Dr. Hussein Fadhel graduated top of his class with B.Sc. degree in electronics and control engineering from Technical Engineering College Kirkuk – Northern Technical University, Iraq in 2007. He received his M.S. in engineering science with the emphasis in telecommunications in May 2012 from the University of Mississippi via a Fulbright scholarship he was awarded in 2010 to study in the USA. He earned his Ph.D. in engineering science - electrical engineering with emphasis in communications and information theory from the University of Mississippi 2015 – 2019 via a grant from NASA. His research interests include channel coding, IoT networks, Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN), and environment monitoring wireless sensor networks. Currently, He is a faculty member of the Technical Engineering College Kirkuk, Northern Technical University.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Halgurd Sarhang Maghdid.. 

The role of A.I. in smart cities

Dr Halgurd received the B.Sc. degree in    Software    Engineering    from    Salahaddin University, Erbil, Iraq, in 2004, the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Koya University, Koya-Erbil,  Iraq,  in  2006,  and  the  Ph.D.  degree  in applied    computing    from    the    University    of Buckingham,   U.K.,   in   2016.   He   is   currently serving    as    an    assistant   professor    in    Koya University.  He  has  attended  several  IEEE,  ACM, and Springer Conferences, and has publications (up to 50 researches) in different journals, including the ACM Computing, IEEE  Access,  Wireless  Communication,  Telecommunication  Systems, Springer  and etc.  His  research  focuses  on  mining  technologies  machine learning algorithms, and  techniques  in  web  applications as well as  hybrid  wireless technologies and sensor technologies.
